tutoring

TheREC offers a weekly study hall on Wednesdays for Page County students. The center provides space for school work and internet access. Through the generosity of the Page County High School National Honor Society, high school students are on site to help with assignments. Adult supervision and presence during study hall. Hours: Wednesday After School until 7pm

mentoring

Mentoring is every Tuesday from 6-8pm, youths will interact and connect with adults for encouragement and positive role modeling. Dinner is provided.

feeding and wellness

Through a grant from Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, meals are provided to children who need them.  

Youth activities and fitness

Nothing Without Focus – fitness room and instruction every Monday, Wednesday & Fridays 5:30-7pm. 

Youth activities, outings and events are planned throughout the year to encourage personal development and healthy lifestyle choices.

mental health

Meets every 1st & 3rd Monday of the month to discuss different topics related to Mental Health. The purpose is to connect individuals to one another, resources and information. See Mental Health Mondays-Page County on Facebook for topics of discussion.

TheREC is the West Luray Recreation Center, located at 630 West Main Street in Luray, VA.  This is the location for all our programs.

No!  These programs are free to participating youth and teens.

Yes.

The feeding program is not limited except for space and social distancing.
